Develop a Facebook ad campaign to assist Hawthorn in achieving their objectives around increasing Facebook likes and data capture in their high demand finals football month of September, whilst also staying under budget.
Pillar was able to provide a two-pronged approach, using Facebook ads and sponsored stories to focus on increasing page likes, whilst also using sponsored posts to drive data capture.
The campaign was a great success for the Hawks, gaining an extra 26,248 Facebook likes in the month of September. In comparison to the exact same period in 2012 (where they had similar success on the field), Hawthorn were able to achieve 16,473 more page likes.
